Delete your account

You can delete your Chowple account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

1. From the app

If Chowple is installed on your phone:

1. Open Chowple and sign in to your account.
2. Open the Profile tab, then tap Settings.
3. Select "Delete my account" and confirm.

2. Without the app

If you no longer have access to the app, send an email to the address below from the email address associated with your Chowple account, with the subject "Account deletion". We will process your request after verifying your identity.

3. Data that is deleted

Deleting your account permanently erases:

• your profile (name, email address, bio, profile photo);
• all your ratings and comments;
• the dish photos you have published;
• your likes and follows;
• your reports.

4. Processing time

Requests made from the app are processed immediately. Email requests are processed within 30 days at most after verification. None of this data is retained after deletion.
